		<description>To me, namaste (though namascara would work just as well) is a really essential part of the yogic experience, as its an assertion that we all bow down to each other, that you, whoever you are, are as sacred as I am, and I&#039;m as sacred as you are, no matter who you are...essentially a one word version of Walt Whitman&#039;s &quot;I celebrate myself and sing myself and what I assume you shall assume for every atom belonging to me belongs to you as well...&quot; and, we must remember, the same is true of every single one of those suffering Haitians picking themselves up from the rubble...
